Role: (Senior) Field Application Engineer
Place of work: Pune
Experience: 3-5 years
About the role
As a (Senior) Field Application Engineer, you will provide technical support for our machine vision products and optical sensors in various automation industries, including automotive, robotics, pharma and electronics across India.
As the technical backbone of the sales team, you will develop and present innovative solutions using vision systems, AI-based inspection and robotics.
You will conduct training and product presentations to increase our customers' knowledge of our products and technology.
Desired skills and qualities
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical field, along with a minimum of four years of experience in machine vision, image processing, automation or a related environment
A structured, self-directed work style combined with excellent communication skills
Proficiency in PLC and robotics programming is a plus
A high level of customer focus with a solution-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel nationwide (approximately 60%)
Eligibility to work in India and a valid Indian driving license
