Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Software Engineer to join Team Sattva, a core product development team within our organization. This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable internal platforms and automation tooling on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong development experience in C#, deep understanding of Azure infrastructure-as-code, and a passion for building reliable and secure cloud-native solutions.
This is a technical, hands-on role requiring strong problem-solving abilities, independent execution, and a commitment to quality. The role also includes participation in on-call support for production systems on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop internal tools and platform components using C#, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Develop and manage PowerShell scripts for deployment, orchestration, and platform operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Manage and integrate with key Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Identity, and Networking.
• Implement and monitor system observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure and application layers.
• Participate in the team’s on-call support rotation to ensure high availability of core systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and reusable platform solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, scripts, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development using C#/.NET.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM templates, Bicep, and Azure CLI.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for system automation and deployment.
• Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions preferred).
• In-depth understanding of Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
• Willingness to support production systems, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with secure cloud architecture and governance best practices.
• Exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
