We are India’s largest bike-taxi platform, steadily venturing into Auto, Cabs, Delivery, Rental, and more. Currently, present in ~100 cities, we are growing close to ~50% year-on-year with steady funding. We have changed the concept of intra-city travel and made last-mile connectivity affordable to all. Along with being the #1 choice of 40 million people, we have also built a solid captain base of over 5 million registered captains, who have bettered their lives with Rapido. Job Summary:
As a Product Engineer, you are expected to design, build, deliver, and improve features on a system that spans a diverse tech landscape, striking a balance between business priorities and the technical vision of the organization. The coolest part of this role is the ability to own the future of products, ensure quality and longevity, and see the results of your efforts in people's everyday lives.
What responsibilities:
Participate in design, code, sprint planning, solutions, and delivery of features alongside other engineers
Evangelize clean coding practices and ensure that the delivery meets our quality benchmarks
Work across a diverse tech landscape(Go/Node/Java/Kafka/Redis/Mongo), thus expanding the breadth of knowledge and having an opportunity to go in-depth in an area of your choice
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Design team, and Engineering team
Go beyond the obvious, go in-depth, as with scale many things are beyond obvious reasoning
Be part of a team that values continuous learning and pushes the boundaries to improve individually and collectively
Job requirements:
B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering degree/experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in software development using Go / NodeJs / Java
Understanding of microservices architecture
Experience working with an Agile cross-functional team
Good knowledge of any databases NoSQL or SQL
Passion for learning new things and solving challenging problems
Willingness to give and take feedback, learn, and improve
