About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Informatica Cloud Developer (IICS) with 3–5 years of experience to join our data integration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, cloud-based ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), with a strong focus on integrating REST and SOAP web services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration).
Integrate data from a wide range of cloud and on-premises sources, including databases, SaaS platforms, and APIs.
Build and maintain API-based integrations using REST and SOAP web services within Informatica IICS.
Develop reusable mappings, tasks, and workflows for efficient data movement and transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design robust data integration solutions.
Assist clients in the configuration and optimization of integration workflows, mappings, and transformations within the IICS platform.
Python and shell scripting development is a must.
Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, data mismatches, transformation errors, performance issues, and integration failures.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose long-term fixes and optimizations.
Review and analyze logs, error messages, and exception handling to identify and address operational bottlenecks.
Conduct unit, system, and integration testing for Informatica components.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, error handling strategies, and support runbooks.
Monitor, debug, and resolve ETL job failures, performance bottlenecks, and API-related issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation including data flow diagrams, integration specs, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay up-to-date on the latest features and updates in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of ETL and data integration experience, with 2+ years in Informatica IICS.
Solid hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs, including authentication (OAuth, API keys), payload handling (JSON/XML), and error handling.
Strong skills in SQL and experience with databases such as Snowflake, SQL Server.
Experience integrating with cloud platforms like Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with data warehousing, data modeling, and data quality best practices.
Basic Unix/Linux shell scripting skills.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI) for API orchestration.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git.
Knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
