About the Role
One of the companies we collaborate with at Joppy is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team.
Work modality: FULL REMOTE from anywhere in India.
We are seeking a senior DevOps Engineer with experience in the GCP and AWS environments, Kubernetes, Python, and GitHub for CI/CD. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our machine learning products. This person should be autonomous with experience of scaling multiple machine learning products and working in a Unix environment.
IMPORTANT: We are looking for a L3 type senior system engineer (Not a system admin, not just a tool expert) who has development skills and has a passion for automation and would like to advise/challenge software developers to make the best possible decisions (cost-effective, relevant and useful).
Responsibilities
· Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions on GCP and AWS.
· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD, or CircleCI.
· Manage and automate infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.
· Monitor and troubleshoot production environments using different tools, like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
· Scale multiple machine learning products and services to meet growing demand.
· Develop and maintain scripts for automation and configuration management.
Requirements
· Location: India
· Min. 5 years of experience in DevOps or SRE.
· Strong experience with GCP, Kubernetes (especially Kubeflow Pipeline) and Docker.
· Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
· Strong scripting skills.
· Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
· Familiarity with database administration.
· Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
Nice to have
· ML and data science tools.
· AWS and services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
· Log management tools (ELK Stack, Splunk).
· Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
