About the Role
Technical Requirements:
• 6+ years experience as a ETL Developer using ETL tools
• 5+ years experience working with relational database
* 3 + exposure to any BI tools ( Power BI, MicroStrategy )
• 3+ years experience working with high volume data ingestion
• Exposure to fourth generation programing language such as python
• Capable of working as an individual contributor and as part of an agile team member
• Motivated individual to drive ETL best practices
Required Skills :
4+ of experience in ETL Tools IBM DataStage an asset ( Must be fluent with ETL tools. Having knowledge of DataStage will be an asset)
4+ yrs of experience in knowledge of relational database ( Must develop optimized queries. Having knowledge of Teradata will be an asset)
2 + yrs of experience in public cloud ( GCP is preferred)
3 + yrs of experience in BI tools ( Must be able to publish and generate reports / dashboards in BI tools)
minimum of 1 year of experience in writing Linux Shell scripting as well as Python code
Job Responsibilities :
• Translating requirements into high level design for transformation
• Development of ETL pipelines based on the design
• Develop stored procedures if required to support the ETL pipeline
• Develop highly optimized queries to ingest data into relational database
• Develop external code using 4GL programming language
• Work within an Agile sprint team
Work Schedule : Candidate should be ready to work 8:30 AM - 17:00 PM EST
Education : Computer Science or Engineering Degree/Diploma or Equivalent Experience
