Key Responsibilities:
Monitor IT Infrastructure hardware, Operating system and application alerts generated by the tools and investigate the fault based on the Knowledge base and documentation and outside the documentation using own knowledge skills as applicable
Run pre-defined tasks and ensure the completion
Monitor and do the basic troubleshooting of Backup
Run and manage scheduled jobs and batch processes
Website monitoring and IIS troubleshooting
Work in 24 x 7 shifts
Manage advanced Level 1 support for Server, Operating systems and applications as per the skills mentioned
Undertake Knowledge transfer from peers or clients during transition
Prepare and update Documentation as applicable
Manage the work within the agreed KPI/SLA as applicable Qualification & Skills
New relic understanding is highly desirable. Understanding of synthetics and new relic configuration and alerting.
Good to have Skills:
Basic understanding of Cloud Computing (AWS preferred)
Basic understanding of IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet
Basic understanding of Coding and scripting in Java, JSON, YML, Python/Bash/Go/Ruby, shell/powershell
Experience in Automating routine tasks.
Experience in query languages like SQL
Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, docker, ansible, puppet
Desirable
Preferable ITIL Foundation Trained/Certified
Preferable MCSE or MCSM.
ITIL v3 certification.
Personal Traits
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Highly process orientated
Desire to learn and ability to quickly implement learnings.
Troubleshooting skills
Should be a good team player, highly motivated and ambitious
