About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
One of Insight Global’s clients is looking to onboard a Kafka Developer to their team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Kafka-based data streaming applications and implementing and managing Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing data pipelines and real-time streaming applications, primarily using Java with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Apache Flink. This is a 6-month contract and will be working remotely from India. The contractor is expected to work till 11:00am PT Monday-Friday.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science
5+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience participating in Kafka streaming implementation projects
Extensive knowledge of Kafka installation and administration
Expertise in MongoDB
Proficiency in Java and Python
Excellent communication skills
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Mulesoft integration experience
$14/hr to $16/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
