About the Role
Summary: The SAP Developer role is critical for the BT-TC-Core Platforms team, focusing on creating and enhancing SAP applications and ensuring effective integration with various systems.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement composable Event and API-based solutions using SAP BTP and on-premises systems.
Utilize SAP ABAP for creating RESTful applications.
Manage SAP S/4 HANA migration and implementation strategies.
Integrate applications with various data protocols such as OData and IDOC.
Assist in Fiori and user extensibility enhancements.
Optimize existing code and enhance performance through reviews and metrics.
Mentor peers and provide support in development practices.
Engage in extensive ABAP RICEFW development and upgrade support.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication within the team.
Key Requirements:
SAP BTP Architecture experience (2 years)
Proficient in SAP ABAP Cloud and RESTful programming (2 years)
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA migration/implementation methods (2 years)
Integration experience with OData, IDOC, RFC, Proxy (5 years)
Fiori and key user extensibility (5 years)
OO ABAP, Code Push Down, and HANA Modelling expertise (10 years)
Extensive ABAP RICEFW development (15 years)
Nice to Have:
Experience with Performance Optimization and Technical Mentoring (10 years)
AI literacy in SAP BTP (strong plus)
Soft skills: Critical Thinking, Adaptability, Good Communication (15 years)
