About the Role
We are looking for an urgent requirement for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer position. Please find the detailed JD and screening checklist below. Kindly share only highly relevant profiles who match the criteria, with a focus on strong Azure Network Infrastructure design experience.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer (8–12 years experience) with hands-on expertise in building, deploying, and operating cloud-native infrastructure. The role involves extensive work on Azure Networking, AKS, Terraform, and Disaster Recovery, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert in operating and troubleshooting production AKS clusters
Build/deploy workloads using Docker and Helm
Automate infra provisioning via Terraform
Configure autoscaling using KEDA and HPA
Work with Istio or similar service mesh tools
Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions
Handle complex Azure networking: VNet, NSG, DNS, Load Balancers, Peering
Support and execute Disaster Recovery procedures
Important Points from Hiring Manager:
Strong preference for candidates with deep Azure Network Design expertise – not just operations or tuning.
Candidates should be hands-on in designing Azure Network Infrastructure including Firewall, NSG, DNS, VNet, Load Balancer, Route Tables, App Gateway, Auto Scaling, etc.
Preference for candidates with AZ-305 certification or equivalent hands-on expertise.
Only those profiles who meet all required skills and whose core competency is Azure Networking will be considered.
