Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer with 4–6 years of industry experience to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, and data visualization best practices, with a keen understanding of business metrics and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and publish advanced Tableau dashboards based on business requirements.
Gather requirements and work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and reporting objectives.
Optimize existing dashboards for performance and user experience.
Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Write complex SQL queries and use Tableau Prep or ETL tools for data preparation.
Implement data security, row-level security, and user-based access controls in Tableau.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product owners for end-to-end BI solutions.
Conduct UAT, support deployments, and document dashboard logic and data definitions.
Required Skills & Experience
5–6 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development (Desktop & Server).
Strong proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.
Solid understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard UX.
Experience with Tableau Prep and data transformation techniques.
Experience in connecting Tableau to various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Excel, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize dashboards.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have
Knowledge of other BI tools (Power BI, Looker, etc.)
Exposure to Python or R for data analysis.
Experience with working Azure Fabric Dbs
Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a related stream.
