Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Portal Developer to lead the design and development of dynamic, user-friendly Service Portals. This role requires deep expertise in front-end technologies, ServiceNow scripting, and a strong understanding of user experience principles to deliver intuitive and responsive portal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom Service Portals using ServiceNow’s Service Portal framework.
Build reusable widgets and components using:
AngularJS
HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
JavaScript (client-side and server-side)
Customize portal themes, layouts, and navigation to align with branding and user experience goals.
Develop and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, and associated workflows.
Implement advanced scripting using:
Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions
Business Rules, Script Includes
Glide APIs and asynchronous GlideAjax calls
Integrate portals with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Optimize portal performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Maintain documentation and provide training/support to end users and junior developers.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 3 years focused on Service Portal.
Strong proficiency in:
JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3
REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML
ServiceNow Glide APIs and scripting
Experience with Service Catalog, CMDB, and ITSM modules.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Excellent understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Performance Analytics and Virtual Agent integration.
Familiarity with UX design tools and principles.
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (e.g., ITSM, HRSD).
Experience in multi-tenant or managed services environments.
