About the Role
The Applied AI Engineer will work across machine learning, product engineering, and customer operations. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical depth with a strong product mindset, and thrives in fast feedback loops.
Key Responsibilities
Convert raw datasets into clean, structured signals ready for model training
Design product features and infrastructure based on real-time user and ops feedback
Build internal tools and prototypes that help users extract value from the platform
Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and ML teams
Participate in rapid experimentation, shipping iterative improvements frequently
What We’re Looking For
Experience at a startup or as a founder
Proficient in React, Next.js, and Python
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL schema design
Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration/ETL tools
Experience deploying LLMs or ML models in production, including evaluation pipelines
Background in systems integration (CRMs, ATSs, data warehouses, etc.)
Interest in evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, or annotation tools
Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous learning
Compensation Details
Base Salary: $40,000 to $100,000 USD annually
Bonus: Up to 40% of base, linked to individual and company performance
