About the Role

Our Growth Plans:
We process close to 4% of the country's freight on our software platform. Our goal is to get to 20% of the country's freight by 2028. This gives us a bird’s eye view of the market. We’re already the largest road freight technology platform in the country and we plan to build on this base to drive growth in software, freight marketplace and supply chain financing to get to a 100M USD revenue by 2028.
About the Role:
We are looking for a UI Engineer to implement high quality user interfaces for our product platform. The candidate should be passionate about the front end user experience and will work closely with our designers, product leads and product development team to develop our application features.
Key responsibilities:
Be responsible for design, development, and testing of web applications.
Investigate, prototype, and deliver innovative solutions to problem statements.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.
Write high-performance, reusable code for UI components.
Promote best practices (ex - TDD, Clean Code).
Participate in design and code reviews.
Preferred qualifications:
B.E. in Computer Science / MCA with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Possess web fundamentals such as HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
Good understanding of Restful APIs, authentication methods, etc.
Good knowledge of ReactJS / AngularJS frameworks, Node and Express.
Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux/Redux Toolkit, MobX etc.
Understanding of web browsers and DOM. Appetite for learning and utilizing new and upcoming browser features such as Web Components, Shadow DOM, ServiceWorkers etc.,
Solid knowledge and understanding of object-oriented programming. Experience building full-stack applications is a plus.
Knowledge of working with different databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Must be open to experimenting with new technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
