🔧 What You’ll Do
Design and lead development of scalable backend systems powering real-time personalization and ML inference.
Architect and own core infra components (APIs, databases, data pipelines, etc.) across critical product surfaces.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and founders to bring LLM-powered product ideas to life.
Define and enforce engineering best practices and code quality across the team.
Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and scalability in a fast-paced, zero-to-one environment.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of backend software development experience, with strong system design skills.
Proven track record of owning and shipping complex production systems end-to-end.
Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, Java) and modern cloud-native architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
Experience working on high-scale distributed systems or ML infra is a strong plus.
Startup mindset — bias for action, autonomy, and ownership.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
🌟 Bonus Points
Experience integrating with ML models or LLM APIs (OpenAI, Langchain, RAG pipelines, etc.)
Prior work on recommender systems, personalization engines, or real-time user state management.
Comfortable with performance optimization, observability, and debugging in production.
📍 Location
Bangalore (Onsite) — We believe in high-bandwidth collaboration and fast iteration, especially at this stage.
