We are looking for passionate individuals looking to pursue their career in BigCommerce Development and are happy to learn and adapt to new technologies. We are looking for a BigCommerce Developer to produce scalable Website solutions. You will be part of an Ecommerce Team that is responsible for the complete backend part. As a BigCommerce Developer, you should be comfortable around back-end coding languages and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player, the successful candidate will be given full support to grow their skills and encouraged to introduce any new initiatives they are passionate about to help the company’s growth.

Roles & Responsibilities
Work independently to develop Ecommerce sites on BigCommerce
Developing custom BigCommerce themes
Migrating websites from other Ecommerce platforms to BigCommerce
Extending BigCommerce functionalities to next level
Integrating third party and platform supported apps in the sites
Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in BigCommerce platform
Optimizing page speed of BigCommerce Sites
Transforming complex XD/PSD layouts into pixel-perfect presentation layer HTML5/ CSS3 / Tailwind CSS templates
Creating responsive website designs
Headless Store Development using NextJS / ReactJS and GraphQL
Working with version control systems such as GIT
Working under tight deadlines
Producing high-quality work with a strong focus on detail
Skills & Characteristics
Minimum of 2 years of experience in BigCommerce website development
Strong knowledge of BigCommerce platform
Expertise in BigCommerce theme development and customization
Expert level knowledge of BigCommerce Stencil framework (handlebars, front matters etc..)
Comfortability working with Storefront APIs and Stencil util-APIs
Expertise in JavaScript libraries (eg: jQuery)
BigCommerce certification (preferred)
Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in BigCommerce platform
Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in BigCommerce sites
Good knowledge of Stencil Framework, ReactJS, NextJS and GraphQL
Good communication skills across all platforms
Strong passion for frontend technology, best practices, and continuous improvement
Highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work in a team in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture
Positivity, focus, and a winning mentality allied with kindness
Must be curios, energetic and creative to help building the Bliss culture
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field
