Job Description:
We are looking for a Backend Developer with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in backend application development using Java technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful services, and real-time messaging systems like Kafka. This role requires someone who can contribute to the full development lifecycle — from system design to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and REST APIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy backend services
Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Work with Kafka for distributed messaging and real-time data pipelines
Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Follow best practices for software development, testing, and deployment
Required Skills:
5–10 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and related backend frameworks
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases
Proficiency in Kafka for messaging and stream processing
Knowledge of JavaScript for integration or light front-end interaction is a plus
Solid understanding of the entire web development lifecycle
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred
