About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and development of high scale distributed systems. You will work closely with a team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design, develop, and optimize our search engine platform.

Responsibilities
Produce high quality software that is unit tested, reviewed, and regression tested
Contribute towards code reviews and documentation
Debugging production issues and publish RCAs as applicable
Participate in design reviews and share SDLC best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Scala.
Strong understanding of information retrieval principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Hands-on experience with search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, or Lucene is highly desirable.
4+ years of experience in coding and design
