Cross-Platform Browser Developer (Linux, macOS, Windows)
📍 Location: Chandigarh
🕒 Type: Full-time / Contract
💼 Experience: 3+ years
We're building a custom browser, tailored for speed, privacy, and secure browsing. It will run natively on Linux, macOS, and Windows, offering a fresh alternative to Chrome, Brave, and Firefox.
Our goal is to create a privacy-first browser with intelligent features for modern users — and we’re seeking a hands-on low-level system developer who has experience working with browser engines or Chromium forks.
Your Role
Build and maintain a high-performance desktop browser
Integrate rendering engine (Chromium/WebKit)
Develop native code for core browser functions: tabs, history, bookmarks, etc.
Build secure architecture with sandboxing and encryption
Optimize for performance across platforms (Linux, Windows, macOS)
Work closely with frontend teams on UI integration
Required Skills
Strong programming in C++, Rust, or Go
Experience with Chromium, WebKit, or similar rendering engines
Familiarity with cross-platform development and build tools (CMake, GN, Ninja)
Solid understanding of browser networking & security
Worked on building or customizing browsers / browser-like apps
Git, CI/CD tools
Bonus Points
Experience with Electron, CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework), or Qt WebEngine
Contributions to open-source browser projects
Experience with ARM builds for Raspberry Pi or mobile devices
