About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Administrator to join our Platform development and support team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Cloud Architecture, Cloud Migration, Infrastructure as code (IaC), Maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Automation implementation, On-call, incident response and incident management, and Monitoring etc.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
Experience as a DevOps Administartor in a similar software engineering role.
Candidates having additional experience of Admn skills in WSO2 or ELK or Kafka or Hashicorp or DB will be preferred over vanilla DevOps skillset.
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
Good knowledge of Java or Ruby or Python ; Experience in any programming language or scripting is must.
Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud containerization solutions.
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Experienced in Code check-in Check-out using CI/CD through Devops
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Experience with Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on escalated issues that are reported via automation.
Knowledge of Linux or UNIX environments, including navigating and troubleshooting basic OS issues.
Knowledge of networking protocols, Exporting endpoints with TLS/SSL encryption
Experience in Software Development Projects using agile development methodologies.
Logical approach to problem solving, creativity, analytical capabilities; Collaborative team spirit.
Ability to understand how various systems interact with each other
Excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support,
Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.
Develop software to integrate with internal backend systems.
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
Develop scripts to automate visualization.
Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
3 years -10 years of total experience with hands-on experience in DevOps Administration.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: Relevant Graduate/undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Applications from a leading university.
