About the Role
Role Summary
The Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of KGP's AI-enabled platform hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise and experience in ensuring the seamless integration of AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and OpenAI Cloud. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure, providing technical support, and driving innovation to enhance platform performance. This role will be directly reporting to the VP of Product Development in India.
Roles & Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining the application architecture, coding, testing, and deploying applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development and deployment process.
Provide technical guidance and support to the Cloud Applications team.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud-based applications. The Lead Developer will also be responsible for researching and evaluating new technologies and tools to ensure that applications are developed in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
Required Skills & Requirements:
8+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud web applications
Expertise in front-end and back-end development technologies is a must.
Expertise and hands-on experience in NodeJS and ReactJS is a must.
Ability to perform technical designs with attention to scalability and resiliency.
Experience with Agile Development process
Experience in working with PostgreSQL database
Experience in using Sequelize or other relevant ORM
Experience in designing, developing and working with REST APIs
Experience in using Bitbucket or equivalent version control software and managing code repositories and check-ins as part of the CI/CD pipeline
Ability to manage task assignments and mentor developers
Education Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ph.D. in a relevant field is a plus.
