Job Description: Developer (Operation)
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Operations Developer to join our dynamic Operations team at Mediakart, a leading player in the digital advertising industry. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys automation, and has deep expertise in advertising tracking technologies and implementation.
You will play a pivotal role in streamlining ad operations workflows, implementing tracking solutions, and ensuring flawless execution of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with media, data, and client service teams to enable accurate tracking, measurement, and reporting of campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation & Scripting:
◦ Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational processes.
◦ Identify repetitive tasks and create automation tools to increase efficiency.
◦ Build integrations between ad platforms, data warehouses, and reporting dashboards.
Website & Tool Development:
◦ Create, update, and maintain internal-facing websites and microsites to support operational needs.
◦ Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance.
◦ Develop web-based tools for internal data visualization or campaign management.
◦ Collaborate with design teams to implement engaging and user-friendly UI/UX.
Tracking & Implementation:
◦ Implement and troubleshoot tracking pixels (iFrame, JavaScript, server-side).
◦ Manage and deploy pixels/tags for conversion tracking and event collection on websites.
◦ Ensure correct setup and validation of campaign tracking across platforms.
Ad Tech & Analytics Tools Expertise:
◦ Hands-on experience with tracking and verification tools:
▪ DCM (Campaign Manager 360)
▪ IAS (Integral Ad Science)
▪ DoubleVerify
▪ Mfilter
▪ Flashtalking
▪ Nielsen DAR (Digital Ad Rating)
▪ Adobe Analytics / Adobe Advertising
◦ Monitor and validate campaign tracking setups.
◦ Work closely with media teams to ensure correct data flow.
Technical Troubleshooting:
◦ Diagnose and resolve issues with tags, pixels, or ad serving.
◦ Conduct QA testing before and after campaign launches.
◦ Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) regarding data collection.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
◦ Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements.
◦ Document technical processes and create clear guides for implementation.
◦ Support ad operations with technical onboarding of new tools and platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within digital advertising operations or technical ad support.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, browser debugging tools).
• Familiarity with tag management systems (GTM, Tealium, etc.).
• Experience with data collection strategies, event tracking, and campaign analytics.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with server-to-server (S2S) tracking implementation.
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with CDPs (Customer Data Platforms) or DMPs.
• Certification in Google Marketing Platform or Adobe Analytics.
• Basic understanding of data privacy laws and compliance in ad tech.
