About the Role
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with product management to define project scope, priorities, and timelines
Use programming as a tool to solve problems, with no prejudice against or bias towards a language and database.
Mentor team members with the latest and greatest in your discoveries during your learning.
Keep up to date with the trends and versions of the technology, and tinker with all the new upgrades into time-tested technologies.
Effectively provide solutions to both technical and non-technical issues brought up by the team members.
Expand existing and implement industry-best software engineering practices.
Own product development - understand the ecosystem of why, where, and whom you are developing for, and be proactive in course-correcting towards efficiency each day.
Architected and implemented new features that benefit the user base toward their well-being
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Skills Required:
3-5 years of web application development /product development experience
Expertise in Python frameworks like Django, Flask
Expertise in Angular, Javascript, Git/BitBucket
Experience in any databases, Node.JS, Linux/Unix commands, and shell scripting
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
Experience in building event-driven scalable & resilient systems
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and online storage
Experience working with the GIT versioning tool. Good analytical and communication skills, result-oriented
